Letterpress Business Cards

Something I’d been wanting for a long time was letterpress business cards. I love the tactile nature of them – the deep impression in soft cotton paper certainly stands out from ordinary business cards, and aside from being just a business card, I think they can serve as a nice little piece of miniature art. Papered Together in Minneapolis recently had a sale on letterpress cards, (the cost of the cards was the high temperature of the day) so I took advantage of the promo and got my first set of letterpress cards. I upgraded and added a second color (and a few extra cards).

I found some cool little vellum envelopes that they fit perfectly in, completing the package. As a primarily web creative director/designer, one of the last little bits of print I get to enjoy these days is business cards – and as far as business cards go, I don’t think anything beats letterpress if you can spare the extra expense.
