Raising $10,000 in 10 Hours for ALS on Twitter
This Thursday, October 1, 2009 I’m working with a group of volunteers to raise money for ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, also known as “Lou Gehrig’s Disease”).
Basically, I’m working on a project with the marketing team at Quicken Loans and Quizzle to raise $10,000 for ALS in 10 hours by asking everyone we know to donate $1 (or more if you wish).
We’re trying to use what we know (the Internet and social media) to help people with ALS. You can read the full story here.
So, please consider donating $1 on 10/1/09. Check out www.tweetforals.com to learn more.

What a great cause! I have a relative with Lou Gehrig’s Disease so this hits close to home.
I will be sure to make a donation. Good luck with your fundraising efforts.
Love,
Sammie
